HB Announces Peter Charland as Executive Vice President, Sales

HB Communications, one of the leading providers of audiovisual, and collaboration solutions and services, is proud to announce that Peter Charland has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Sales. In his new position, Peter will lead the company’s combined sales organization and collaborate with customers and technology partners to increase the company’s growth and market leadership.

“I am excited to lead HB’s combined sales and partner channels and to expand HB’s leadership in visual communication solutions and services. The depth of expertise that HB can offer through our sales teams has a measurable impact on our clients’ businesses. My singular focus will be on excellence across our sales organization in how HB addresses critical client needs for visual communication environments and experiences,” said Peter.

Peter joined HB in the summer of 2012 to form the company’s Managed Services practice, now the company’s fastest growing and most profitable segment, before assuming operational leadership for HB’s audiovisual and collaboration integration areas in early 2018. His diverse experience prior to joining HB includes work with early stage entrepreneurial firms and large, global enterprises. He has previously held senior positions with AT&T, Critical Path, and EMC. While Vice President at FaxNet, he led sales and marketing efforts which earned the company recognition on Upside magazine’s “100 Hot Companies” list. He holds an MBA with Dean’s Honors from Columbia University, a BA from Stonehill College, and completed the Strategic Marketing Management program at Harvard Business School.
